True thing. Similar thoughts occurred to me when I had to design my first UI. So many decisions make and every one of them affects the user in a certain way... Another reason I love free software. It's just a good feeling knowing that software wasn't designed primarily with the profit motive in mind.

Veldig interessant lesning. For meg så går dette hånd i hånd med oppmerksomhets økonomien vi alle nå lever i og vi forbrukere taper på alle kanter I denne nye verdenen. Takk for artikkelen Anonymiss

We only lose if we give up control. When large corporations like Facebook censor our timeline then we're lost.

Yes indeed, I just think that we are not aware of the control we give up, the attention we give away, for it happens gradually. Like the old metaphor of the lobster who do not know it's being boiled alive because the water temperature rises gradually. You and I know are aware if this and we guard ourselves, others may look at the new development as the next fun game to be played, they already are.
What did you mean by censoring the timeline? which timeline?
