I hope in a few months I've improved my shape further, stupid braindamage. It took me almost a week to recover from the few days I spent in Berlin last year. I still have to sleep at least once during daytime, else I just pass out, so if I go to Leipzig I should book a hotel close to the 34C3. I'll decide in a few months and else I'll go next year...

So it will be next year I'm afraid: "Bei der Suche nach Hotels habe ich feststellen dürfen, dass in fußläufiger Reichweite zur Messe schon so gut wie alles ausgebucht ist."
Schade, in Leipzig war ich schon mehr als 20 Jahre nincht mehr :-(

i booked two pensions in walking distance, didn't cancel the booking for the spare single room yet (2000m away from the venue). 26th to 1st, 50 eur per night. so i can keep it occupied for someone of you.

Oh, that was for herzmeister and I haven't red his post properly. 50€ per night is a very good price. Yogrt has to make up his mind first of course, since he has to have a room in walking distance

That spare single room is 59 EUR per night, sorry I mislooked. And I also have a spare double room in the ACHAT Messe Hotel (also about 2000m away). Same time frame, 92 EUR per night. Long story.

Ups, sorry I didn't read the rest of the thread earlier. I'm sorry, but I won't make it this year, I really do hope to see a lot of you next year!

@Yogrt: I think, you could as well book a room near Hauptbahnhof. It's only about 30min (or less? can't remember) from the Congress. We did that too, and I'll also need at least one resting time during the day.
