I like this

The poem is from the constitutional revolution, when the country went through a period of amazing jump in poetry, music art and politics.

There are so many amazing poems from that period that are timeless and should have been a lesson for our generation to not fall for the scam of Khomeini and his lies.

Sadly the brutal dictatorship of Shah and his intolerance for any voice of dissent created a vaccume in which the fundamentalist forces thrived and created a strong militant base that destroyed every voice of reason and moderate voices in the country.

Persian alphabet looks so cool for those of us who know nothing about it. Ditto the sound.

I remember someone saying that English has a nice sound to people who know nothing about its meaning, something difficult to find these days.
